It's the end of the month.. almost

Here I am, with only 3 more days left in January and I'm looking at the things I have done, and the things I have left to do to achieve my goals of 2016. I said in my last post that I'd be starting my centerpiece sample.. well.. I started it:

Then I let it set while I went away for weekend..

Unfortunately, as you see above, my lovely artwork cracked and split while drying and I think it will be difficult to repair. It's really dry where I live..

So, with that I'm thinking of trying paper lanterns instead. I'll go price them out but I have feeling that the extra cost will be worth the reduced stress.

Other than the start of a centerpiece I haven't done too much wedding-wise, but I did spend 2 hours this morning listening to and downloading songs for our playlist. I think that's the one thing that's stressing me out the most and I'm not even sure why.  I guess I figure that with good music makes a good party, but in the end it will be good no matter what!

So, other than wedding stuff, what have I accomplished this month? My exercise has gone down a little bit since I have been working days. I have been determined to take the 140 (roughly) steps up to work every day which I have noticed has made a difference. It has been a little more difficult this past week though as the staircase from the first to second floor is under construction and I have no idea what other staircase leads to the second floor.. if there's ever a fire, I'd be trapped on the second floor. Yesterday I even took the elevator to the second floor just so I could take the stairs the rest of the way.

Today, though it's already 1pm and I have only: eaten breakfast, done laundry, showered, and downloaded songs for my wedding; I will get some intense exercise in as well as: cook a good meal, go grocery shopping and perhaps clean up a little.. in the 4 hours before the Mr. Gets home from work... oh and meet him for tea :)

I woke up this morning feeling a little grumpy and I'm not sure why. I yelled at the shower for there being no shampoo or body wash left, I grumbled as I realized I left the sink full of dirty water and dishes, and then got angry at a stupid game on my phone. Sometimes we just have these days but I'm "Sonja Sunshine" and so with a little music and dancing I've turned that frown upside down. Now that I'm in a better mood I'll get off this computer, gather the laundry from the dryer and meet my love for tea.
